Mollie’s Place is a gorgeously restored 50’s beach cottage, set on a large (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) m2 block overlooking the bay. The perfect place to escape the city and enjoy the many wonderful beach or bush activities that Bundeena has to offer. The house features 2 larger bedrooms rooms (King and Queen) with a 3rd twin bedroom. The living area with its panoramic glass windows are drenched in light during the day and stars at night. We love opening up the windows and letting the sea breeze flow through accompanied by the sounds of the sea and birds. The house features a restored kitchen with new SMEG appliances and an oven with gas stovetop. Everything you need for a gourmet cookup or just serving up take-out from local restaurants. The large back balcony is great for sharing a meal or just taking in the sounds and view of the bay. The large (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) m2 lot includes a space big enough to kick a ball or play a game of backyard cricket, or maybe just pull up a chair under a tree and have a read. There is a laundry for longer stays with washer and dryer and there is plenty of off street parking. The house is entirely for your private use. The property is close to our favourite beaches, from the back gate it is 180m to Gunyah beach, 650m to Jibbon Beach and 550m down the hill to Shops and Bundeena Wharf from where the ferry departs on the hour to Cronulla. A 20 minute walk through the beautiful Jibbon Beach will take you to Jibbon Rock Engravings which depict the arrival of the Dharawal. A 90 minute walk takes you to Little Marley, a secluded beach that you are likely to share with only a few coastal hikers. On the way you will pass the balconies and wedding cake rock, one of the park’s most photogenic locations. At Bonnie Vale you will find flat water and a long sand spit which is perfect for taking out a hired SUP or Kayak. A (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minute drive will take you to some of Sydney’s most beautiful walks and beaches including our favourite spots Wattamolla (literally paradise), Garie a patrolled surf beach. Figure 8 Pools is best accessed via Garrawarra Farm Carpark its perfect for that (Hidden by Airbnb) shot or to people-watch while others dodge the spray to get their perfect shot (Make sure you check out the safety tips before going). Bundeena has expanded its food offerings recently, there are a number of good cafes, a pizzeria, an authentic and tasty Vietnamese place and 2 clubs. The local IGA also has ready-made meals and a full grocery store. Bundeena is a secluded community, public transport is possible with limited hours via the Bundeena Ferry between Cronulla and Bundeena or via the Royal National Park bus service Park Connections. Timetables are available online.
