These standalone cabins provide some intimacy while soaking in the views for your Abel Tasman experience. They come with linen, towels, toiletries and heaters included while facilities are shared. Great for those who are looking for communal environment whilst maintaining their privacy. Our purpose built cabins accommodation nestled at the base of Marahau Valley each have a great view of the Abel Tasman National Park's foothills. Great for two people travelling together, they are very popular so make sure that you book early! Two of the boundaries are shared with the Abel Tasman National Park. One is beachfront with the actual Great Walk Coastal track! You couldn't be closer! The other is along the foothills of the park, with beautiful valley views sweeping back from the campground. We have great native landscaping that attracts an array of native wildlife visiting The Barn from the park including weka, pukeko, tui, fantails, Morepork and some very sneaky (not so native) deer! The Barn is ready to provide everything for you to come and enjoy onsite with large outdoor decking, multiple BBQ areas, great sea views, plenty of seating and a great range of modern accommodation and facilities -even the showers have sea views! We also have movie and reading rooms so there is space to unwind. On the cooler evenings we have roaring fires both indoor and out – to set the ambience for star gazing our clear and amazing night skies, and to keep you warm and cosy while indoors. It is a fantastic site right at the base of the Abel Tasman foothills! We aim to help you make the best decisions about the awesome things to do in the area. We organise water taxis, kayaking, sailing trips into the park as well as guided walking tours, seal/penguin watching, canyoning, caving, sky diving and more. We will organise transport for you, so you can be picked up from The Barn! After hours check-in booth located next to office door. On-site Manager available 24hrs/7 days.
