Six blocks in the opposite direction to a supermarket and the Central Bus Station. The bus to New Brighton Beach stops across the street from our front gate. All kinds of shops and restaurants are within this same area. A choice of fifteen-minute walks to the Museum, Art Centre and city gallery, or walk along the Avon River past the Town Hall to Hagley Park. Hosted by an artist, you will be privy to some of the hidden gems in Christchurch and Canterbury. There is plenty of space in the park to throw a ball or soak up some sun, right near the Cardboard Cathedral, Central Library and all amenities. Margaret Mahy Playground, New Regent St and the Avon River are a stone's throw away, there are many walking options. If privacy is what you want, being inside this haven is like a one-way mirror on the world. Cathedral Junction, The Piano and Theater Royal, are close by. The central bus station, supermarket, restaurants, shopping... the Canterbury Museum, Arts Centre, Hagley Park are all within walking distance.
