Abaty Cottage Talbenny Hall Cottages.
The cottage is two storey with a large bedroom on the top floor. Ground floor consists of lounge/kitchen/diner. A traditional wood burning stove compliments the heating system. There is parking and there are grounds for animal exercise too. PLEASE NOTE AS Part OF OUR CORONAVIRUS PRECAUTIONS WE WILL NO LONGER BE PROVIDING TOWELS. Stunning coastal scenery combined with unspoiled countryside. The Pembrokeshire Coastal path is less than a mile away. Dogs welcome at £3 a nite Please note we will no longer be providing towels as part of our coronavirus precautions.Lovely cosy cottage ideal for that weekend away for 2! Single bed available by request, extra cost payable during your stay. The whole cottage is for the guests use. Along with a set of tables and chairs at the front of your cottage,you have shared use the BBQ and garden next to it. The laundry is also a shared area. Although we live off site, we live nearby and are available on the phone or by text and email. We are often at the cottages during the day carrying out change overs and general maintenance. Talbenny is a small hamlet in the Pembrokeshire National Park. A quiet rural spot which is close to the sea, Little Haven is just over a mile away which has three restaurants/pubs, a cafe and parking. The beach is easily accessible. A mile further on is Broad Haven with a wide beach which is popular with surfers, wind-kiters. More cafes and restaurants are to be found here. Dale is four miles away which is a renowned centre for watersports including sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. During the summer there is cafe open daily. The Griffin pub is open all summer and has a good reputation. Cocos can be found on the 1st floor of the yacht club which has an excellent reputation. Booking is best to avoid disappointment during the summer. There is little public transport through Talbenny; the Coastal Flyer service can be caught as it passes through the outskirts of the village. ( About a three quarter of a mile walk to the request stop). There is paid parking at Little Haven, Broad Haven, Dale, Marloes beach car park and St Martins Head. There are also separate Blue Badge holder bays at Dale. Verge parking is the option at St Brides and Marloes village. You are welcome to bring your dog as long as they are not allowed on any of the soft furnishings. They must not be left alone in the cottage and please make sure you clean up after your dog! There is an additional cost of £3 per night per dog. You will find a red post box on the wall by the utility room please put the money in there.
