The apartment is in a secure complex with a private verandah overlooking the sea in St James bordering Kalk Bay, sheltered from the wind. It has it's own small beach with child friendly tidal pool and quaint Victorian changing huts. There are lots of fascinating walks and hikes in the area. During whale season, they are close enough to watch right from the beach. Filled with charming antique shops, boutiques, book shops, art galleries and side walk cafés. Fresh fish can be bought from Kalk Bay harbour every day. Cosmopolitan, friendly and fabulous restaurants If you are missing the city life, the train station is a mere 10 minute walk. Within 50 minutes you are in the centre of Cape Town. Alternatively go to Simons Town, boulders to see the penguins and other small villages. Or drive along Atlanta coast road straight to Stellenbosch and heart of the wine lands. Opposite the complex is private parking for guests The unit is situated on the first floor, up one flight of stairs. The Internet is connected to my neighbour downstairs for Downloading mail but not streaming.
