The town was devastated in January by flooding but is slowly rebuilding, please support the independent businesses during your stay too :) The River Teme runs through the town and acts as the Worcestershire/Shropshire border. Set in the Malvern Hills, ramblers can enjoy the many hikes and walking trails around the area. Tenbury has a tourist information centre, a small museum, and an old church. In our accommodation, you will find information leaflets for things to do in the area and takeaway menus for local fast-food businesses. The best way to get about is by car. However, from our home, it's only a 10-minute walk to Tenbury, so it's also possible to get around by foot too. There are regular buses that go to Ludlow, Great Witley, Worcester, Bewdley and Kidderminster. Ludlow and Leominster are the closest train stations to Tenbury Wells. There are many walking trails and hikes in the area, especially at Cleehill which is a 15-minute drive from Tenbury. For those who horse ride, Mortimer forest has a network bridleways with long stretches of forest tracks. Smoking is only permitted in the outside seating areas, no smoking or vaping is permitted inside the home. Guests who stay with dogs must pay an additional £20 cleaning fee per dog. If there are any major damages to the property, please let me know asap. If damages have occurred but are not reported, they will be detailed through Airbnb at check out. I don't ask for damage deposits as I hope all guests will act fairly and honestly if any big incidents do occur. COVID 19 Info: I have installed hand sanitiser dispensers in the property which guests can use when they arrive and get back from day trips, etc. The cleaning products used all kill 99.9% of bacteria too. I clean the property myself and with a professional cleaner and ensure the property is disinfected and cleaned to a high standard. If there are any developments or changes by the UK government regarding COVID 19, I will be very accommodating in offering a re-booking. I have two farm cats - Lynx and Panther - they are very friendly and love attention. However, please note they are farm cats and despite their friendly nature, if they go in the house, please put them back outside. I have 40 ducks on our paddock, along with 5 chickens and 3 bantam cockerals. Please feel free to go down and visit the ducks during your stay, be sure to close the gate behind you as you enter and leave the paddock. If you have a dog with you, please keep them on a lead while visiting the ducks.
