Relax in Cairns premier suburb Edge Hill. Passing through Cairns Botanical Gardens and popular foodies hub in the village, you arrive at your suite which is part of our home. Walk to cafes, restaurants, shops & Bus stop. 10 min walk to Botanical Garden & Mt Whitfield walking trails. Easy access to highway north, Cairns city 10 min drive. Supermarket, chemist, doctors a 3 min drive. Grocery store & bottle shop also in the village. Great for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing space. Modern decor, 1 bedroom self contained suite with large beautiful bathroom and separate living area. Fully Sercuity and fly screened. Private entrance and patio area overlooking garden and street. Access to pool and laundry at the back. Undercover parking in front of suite. Co-vid cleaning protocols followed. All switches, handles, door knobs, surfaces ect disinfected. When arriving use the brick driveway to enter. Park on the left side of the carport leaving space for my car please. Go under the veranda. Your suite is door A on the right. Generally I will be available to welcome you for you stay. If not use the keypad and let yourself in. I enjoy meeting new people and love to have a chat and get to know you enough to help you relax and enjoy your stay. I am aware of co-vid spacing rules and try to keep a safe distance during interactions. I am generally available if needed and know everyone likes to be independent and enjoy their own space. Edgehill is an older well established, and sort after suburb to live in. Nestled on the edge of the Whitfield Range. It is a beautiful leafy suburb where it is known for its traditional Queenslander homes, Botanical Gardens, Red, Yellow and Blue Arrow walking trails, Village atmosphere and great selection of cafe's and restaurants. A walk around the streets and hills is a good way to get a feel for the area plus good exercise getting up some of the hills here. The restaurants are extremely popular particularly on weekends when packed with visitors and locals enjoying the food and vibe of the village. Walking around the Edge Hill area is easy & safe. For those going further afield without a car Buses ($3)to city are available from the Edge Hill Village area on Woodward St and Pease St both a block away. Also in front of Botanical gardens if down there. They leave on the hour. Uber is around $12. To the city and $15.00 to the airport. Depending on time of day of cos. A short stroll to cafes and restaurants in the village. Botanical gardens are about 10mins - 15 min walk. We live on top of your suite which is on the ground floor of the building. There are 2 separate guests suites here, both separate entries are via the patio. The pool, laundry and carports are shared areas with plenty of space for social distancing. Rubbish bins are on the right behind the house next the staircase near the pool fence. Bin collection day is early Wednesday mornings. If here for longer stays I do a weekly sheet change, refresh the bathroom and vacuum. There are grocery stores close by as well as an array of fabulous cafes to try. Check my guidebook for some ideas. I do have strict rules that I make sure all who book are aware of to maintain a quite and harmonious environment for my guests and neighbours.
