The Byre Family Cottage with on-site Spa

Luxury barn conversion situated on a gated development set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside. Sleeps five with two double beds, one with an en suite, a single room with a small double bed and a family bathroom. The estate features a spa with heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and fully equipped gym, plus tennis court and access to grounds. Enjoy the Somerset countryside including Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole, with the cities of Wells and Bath, as well as Glastonbury within easy reach. Many of our guests are business travellers, families on leisure breaks or visiting friends and family including those boarding at the strong independent schools in the surrounding area. One thing they have in common is the enjoyment of the privacy, luxury and the fantastic facilities on offer at The Byre, Wellesley Park. The accommodation is completely private and for guests use only. There is a walled patio area with garden furniture. The Byre is one of 18 properties on the estate. The Spa is shared amongst the properties and will therefore have other guests and owners using it from time to time. Guests also have access to the lake and outdoor tennis court. There are 2 allocated parking spaces for The Byre. I do not live in Wells so in the event of a problem or you have any queries, please contact me via Airbnb or my phone number provided. Wellesley Park is situated close to the historic city of Wells. A short drive away are the picturesque towns of Glastonbury and street. Other local attractions include Wookey Hole caves & Cheddar Gorge. There are also plenty of long walks and cycle rides through the beautiful Somerset countryside and Mendip Hills. There is a bus station in Wells which has easy commute to both Bristol and Bath. There is no bus route to Wellesley Park. It is a 30 min walk by road or pathway to the city centre. All guests must read and respect the estate rules at all times. These are available in both the cottage and spa building. Guests have full access to the spa during their stay (no extra charge) but it is not staffed so guests may use the facilities at their own risk. All guests must sign in and out of the spa and can only be used by a maximum of 5 guests during your stay. Guests are not permitted to use the spa facilities after check out. Spa opening times are listed in the estate rules which can be found in the cottage. We do have a travel cot but guests will be required to bring their own bedding for this. We also have a high chair and stair gates. The house and garden must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
