An old farm cottage situated within the village of Sorn, dating from 1700’s. Set in the award winning conservation village of Sorn. The house is tastefully decorated and modernised. The room shares a shower room & separate toilet and bath. A shared guest lounge with Television Small utility area with microwave and fridge for guests with basic crockery available. Laundry service washing & drying available for a charge Breakfast can be provided at a cost between £2.00-£6.00 The cottage is situated at the edge of the village with a very central location. Sorn is an ideal location for exploring Ayrshire, with many Historical Sites & Country Houses & Castles. Beautiful walking and cycling routes . A golfers paradise with many famous golf courses nearby including Royal Troon, Prestwick & Turnburry Glasgow Airport 40minutes by car Prestwick Airport 30 minutes by car Lifts can some times be arranged depending on availability and cost of fuel. Double room with shared separate shower room and toilet and bathroom. Guests may use shared Lounge with Television. Private rear garden available for guests to enjoy. Small utility room with fridge and microwave is available for guests. Iam very happy to interact with my guests and will help them in any way I can. However if guests wish to keep to themselves that is fine by me. We are close to many Historical Places and Large Houses & Castles Dumfries House - where Tours can be arranged and enjoy walking in the beautiful grounds & settings. Burns Country with many Heritage centres close by. Golfing Clubs - to numerous to mention Ayr Race course With many more places to visit. Car is necessary as there is no bus service in the village at the moment Glasgow Airport - 40 minutes by car Prestwick Airport - 30 minutes by car. Lifts can sometimes be arranged to include fuel costs andi depending on availability .
