In the heart of The Three Cities

This ground floor maisonette is a perfect base to anyone who wants to spend a holiday immersed in history, yet surrounded by the lively urban lifestyle. Situated in Cospicua, one of the Three Cities, metres away from the bastions, bus & ferry boat to Valletta connections, away from the hustle and bustle of the overcrowded touristic areas, this lodging is 5 minutes walk away from the seaside promenade that practically joins the Three Cities, making them one, unique, enjoyable experience. The place is PRIVATE, NO SHARING, NO STAIRS TO CLIMB, designed for guest comfort and provided with all the necessary needs. Fully equipped with safety gear, brand new kitchen and appliances, real beds, adequate room for storing belongings, cold/hot water in bathroom and above all very clean. All linen, towels, shampoo, shower/hand soap are provided. A baby bed can be made available upon request free of charge making maximum sleeping capacity of 3 adults + 1 baby. Leaflets are available at the house to plan your journeys by public transport. Also 5 minutes walk away from the house there is a direct ferry boat connection to the capital city, Valletta. I live 10 minutes away by car and most of the time will be available to help out and resolve any issues that may crop up during your stay. My mission is to give my guests 'the perfect stay'. A lively neighbourhood, with the traditional Maltese doughnut vans stopping by from time to time shouting their sells. Tuesdays are market days just around the corner with hundreds of stalls colouring the streets. A chance to mix with the locals and grab a bargain! On Sundays a car boot sale also takes place close by. The apartment is set in a peaceful patch of the city. Environment outside is calm and safe with most of the natives always willing to help out the lost tourist. Romantic walks around the Grand Harbour promenades are a must and minutes away from house. Numerous restaurants to choose from. Sorry no discos and clubs. Let's say the surroundings are more for the mature and quiet lovers. The House is 2 minutes walk away from nearest Public Transport Terminal. Public Transport is regular and frequent. Cospicua - Valletta Ferry boat operates regularly (5 minutes walk away) and it takes a 10 minute Harbour boat trip to get to Valletta. An Environmental Contribution Tax is collected upon arrival. This is payable to the Maltese Government and collected by host. The tax amounts to 50c per person per night with a maximum of 5 euro for any continuous stay. A VAT receipt is issued and provided to guests upon payment. Payments should be made in cash. Car not needed if you intend to stay in the area of The Three Cities. Easily reachable on foot are Senglea, Cospicua and Vittoriosa Waterfronts. Also easy access to Valletta Waterfront by ferry boat. Other close by interesting villages and towns to visit are Marsaxlokk (fishing), Wied iz-Zurrieq (fishing) & Blue Grotto & Hagar Qim / Imnajdra Prehistoric Temples, Marsascala (seaside/beach/dining/nightlife), Birzebbugia (seaside/beach/dining/nightlife), Xghajra & SmartCity (seaside/dining/nightlife).
