Parafield Airport - Mawson Lakes - Uni SA

Hi My husband & I have a 4 bedroom house in a nice quiet street. 2 bedrooms are available. Easy access to Parafield Airport for flying students or take a Bus (2 min walk) to get to Uni SA at Mawson Lakes. Or take a 20 minute train ride to the city! We are empty nesters and love spending time chatting & learning how everyone else lives. However please don't contact us for a room the night before you are due into Adelaide as we like to make the room nice for you! AT LEAST 3 DAYS NOTICE PLEASE. 3km to Parafield Airport for flying students. In your room you will have a double or single bed, huge wardrobe, desk, drawers, and large TV. You will share bathroom with other student/s as needed. All internet included. Price is per ONE person, so contact us if there is more than 1 person travelling/ visiting. The whole house is at your command! You will share with us, but we are very easy to get along with! We can provide meals for long term people - 2 weeks or more. Meals are available at extra per night. We prefer that you eat with us at meal times as we cant have 3-4 different meals being cooked every night. Please discuss with us at booking time so we can come up with an arrangement! We have previously hosted students from Hong Kong, Macau, Indonesia, Taiwan, the Netherlands and Japan. Students from Parafield Airport schools are gladly accepted as previously have had many others and we understand what to expect. We do prefer someone long term who is clean & tidy, but happy to welcome friends and family who are visiting you at the flight school. Local soccer club, local pub, local swimming and gym centres, shopping centre a 15 minute walk, train station to city a 20-30 minute walk, pushbike for you to use if you want!! Close to bus stop/ train station. We can also help you find a car to buy whilst you are here studying to help you get around. Also have a pushbike for you to use for free. A motorised scooter is available for hire on a WEEKLY basis - you must have an international or Australian license, and you will be responsible for your own safety. Any injury you incur will be at your own expense and any damage to the scooter will need to be reimbursed. We do have grandchildren who come for visits. AT LEAST 3 DAYS NOTICE PLEASE - this is our home and we like to prepare for your visit. This is our home and we can have 2 other students at times. We normally don't allow you to cook as it is too hard when 3 or 4 different meals are getting cooked. We enjoy a variety of foods and part of the process is sitting down to a meal with everyone together so we can chat over the day.
