RudhAvon is a four bedroomed apartment that makes up the entire top floor of the Red River Inn in Gwithian. Gwithian is a small Cornish village that backs onto dunes leading to St Ives Bay, the longest beach in Cornwall. The beach stretches from Godrevy to the north all the way down to Hayle 3 miles away and is popular with walkers, surfers and beach lovers of all description. RudhAvon (Cornish for Red River) has three double bedrooms, two of which are en suite and smaller single bedroom. There is another bath and shower room and a lounge and kitchen. The apartment is in a lovely Victorian pub and benefits from high ceilings and huge windows that flood it with sunlight throughout the day. RudhAvon is a short stroll from the coast path and you can be on the shoreline in under 20 minutes if you walk over the sand dunes. I love just next door so if you need anything during your stay please don't hesitate to ask. Gwithian beach, Godrevy Lighthouse and the waves that crash onto shore draw people from around the world. The beach is lomg enough to find solitude on even the busiest of summer days. St Ives and the Tate Gallery are a 15 minute drive away and the world renowned Eden Project is just an hour away. Gwithian is in the Cornish countryside so there are many clifftops, dunes and country lanes that can be navigated on foot while it's central position makes it a good base for a drive up or down the coast.
