Hidden Bay is aptly named as it is nestled in a water lily-filled bay with a beautiful west-facing island view. It feels private without being completely secluded. The cabin itself is small & manageable and the cathedral ceiling, open floor plan, & numerous windows give it a light, open feel. My family originally stayed at Hidden Bay as renters and we liked it so much we bought it & kept the name! Come see why we like it so much and enjoy what we think are some excellent additions & updates. The cabin is an easy-access, single level home with a mildly sloping descent to the water. It is situated on approximately 9 acres and is adjacent to Price County Forest land which is directly north of the cabin. While there are no trails on our acreage to the north yet, you are welcome to carefully explore the property (our land ends approximately where the dead end does). While the area surrounding the cabin is sprayed for mosquitoes, the additional land is not, so bring bug spray if you plan to explore. While I won't be available in person, I will do my best to be available via phone/email etc. We also have a local property manager in case any non-emergency, but urgent cabin-specific issues arise. There is ample parking both directly behind the cabin as well as further up the driveway by the garage (no access is given to the garage itself). -While there is no wifi or tv at Hidden Bay (a conscious decision), there are plenty of things to do, see, and hear both on the property & nearby. However, feel free to stream music, bring downloaded videos, & listen to the radio/CD player provided. -The water directly by the cabin is not suitable for swimming, as it has a very mucky, stumpy bottom. However there are a few great swimming options all within a 30 minute drive: Smith Lake County Park: 14 minutes away, can drive or paddle directly from the dock! Movrich Park: 8 minutes away, in town on the river (in Fifield). Solberg Lake County Park: 26 minutes away, largest of the three. -WI Dept. of Agriculture, Trade, & Consumer Protection Tourist Rooming House License #: KSTZ-BD3JYF
