Rora View Garden Apartment is a spacious three-bedroom self contained ground floor holiday let with a large private southerly garden, situated near Haytor in Dartmoor National Park; set on a hilltop with fantastic panoramic views over the surrounding countryside extending towards the sea at Teignmouth. Nestled amongst farmland between the villages of Old Liverton and Ilsington, the apartment has its own private entrance and summer house: an excellent base to visit all that Devon has to offer. Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside when staying in the Garden Apartment. Sun yourself on the terrace and soak in the wonderful views. Rustle up some great food on the gas BBQ and enjoy it alfresco on the patio. Adults and children will enjoy the table tennis table in the summer house. The apartment is fully furnished to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and includes dishwasher/cooker/washing machine/fridge freezer/tumble dryer/ smart TV. We have excellent Wi-Fi, internet access and mobile signal. If you are travelling with young children, we can supply a travel cot and highchair to make life easier for you. Guests have sole use of the extensive apartment patio and surrounding gardens. It is very peaceful and quiet (apart from the rustling trees and chirping birds!) and completely private. We live in the upper floors of the house and have a completely separate entrance and patio on the other side of the house. We are more than happy to help guests at any point during their stay. There are 10 miles of local walks including East Lounston Nature Reserve and Rora Wood. There is an abundance of places to visit nearby for both adults and children and not enough space to mention them here! We are 2 miles from Haytor and Haytor pools and 3 miles from Bovey Tracey. You can walk to our nearest pub in Ilsington via country lanes. A car is necessary to visit us in this semi-rural area of Dartmoor. We do offer secure indoor bicycle storage if you would like to bring bicycles with you on holiday. We are less than one mile from the Sunstrans cycle route 272 which skirts Ashburton from Bovey Tracey to Ivybridge via the historical towns of Ashburton and Buckfastleigh. Other scenic Dartmoor and Devon cycle routes are available on request from flat-off road to those a bit more challenging!
