In de Koel: complete and quiet studio

'In de Koel' offers a unique getaway in the Maasland, with a rich mining culture. The area is perfect for: - sports: hiking, biking and mountainbiking in the national park 'Hoge Kempen', waterskiing in Cable Park Terhills, and kayaking on the river Maas; - shopping: close to Maasmechelen Village Outlet Shopping, and less than half an hour drive from Maastricht and Aachen: three days' shopping in three countries! - work: several international companies in the industrial zones of Maasmechelen. The 20 sq.m. studio is located in the basement, has its own entrance, kitchenette, seating area and bathroom with toilet, shower and wahsbasin. There are two comfortable beds (80x200cm). In the garden we have a cosy seating nook where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. We will be available during your stay to answer any questions you might have. You are close to the center of Maasmechelen with cosy bars and restaurants. Maasmechelen Village is nearby, and in less than half an hour you are in Maastricht or Aachen. You can park on the driveway in front of the house. There is a busstop at 300 meters with direct connections to a.o. Genk, Hasselt, Maaseik and Maastricht. Smoking is not allowed in the house. You can smoke outside though. Since we live in a residential area we ask you to please be quiet during evening and night.
