(45 sqm) It is located on the first level. The apartment consists of a separate bedroom with traditional iron beds ( 1 king or 2 twins) and a sitting room with a fully equipped kitchen. Both of rooms have a panoramic sea view with a large private veranda. There is an iron sofa bed in the sitting room. It has capacity of 4 persons. The apartments are located in the southwest part of the island in a leeward place,between the picturesque village of Finikas and the traditional village of Posidonia. We are only about 100 meters away from the quiet beach of Voulgari and a short walk from the Finikas beach and the cosmopolitan Agathopes beach. The center of Finikas and Posidonia is a 10-minute walk. Finikas settlement is one of the most popular seaside destinations of the island of Syros. Named after the ancient Phoenicians who used it as a port, being protected from the north winds , just like Kokkina beach right next, has been granted as the second natural port of the island after Hermoupolis’ port. An organized marina provides shelter for many yachts whereas a variety of services can satisfy its visitors (restaurants, taverns and tranditional cafeterias as well as modern ones, bakeries and patisseries, super market, car and bike rentals etc.) The area has a pharmacy store and a community clinic. Agios Pantelehimonas (St. Pantelehimonas) is the central church of the area, where a number of cultural events take place organized by the local cultural society. Nautical activities also take place held by the Nautical Club of Syros. On the sandy beach of Finikas with its clear water, you can find natural shadow beneath the almirikia trees, which grow there. A number of taverns right next to the waves can satisfy even the most peculiar visitors. If you prefer a smaller and quieter beach, Kokkina right next to Finikas will be your destination. Kokkina beach is in a very short distance and is named after the naturally red colored rocks and pebbles that surround it. Posidonia is the old aristocratic resort of the island. Its name is rooted in the ancient Posidonia a place dedicated to Poseidon, Greek God of the Sea. The second name Della Grazia comes from an earlier time when the small cathedral church of Madonna della Grazia was built right next to where the cemetery was later situated. This settlement is full of resorts of recognized neoclassical architectural style, with castles and great gardens with pines but also palm trees. These villas where built by the end of the 19th century. The most recognizable one is Tsiropina Villa, which has been characterized as a historical and preservative monument. It used to function as the Town Hall of Posidonia, where now it is used mainly for cultural activities and events in collaboration with the cultural society of Posidonia and the Syros Municipality. At Posidonia you will find the orthodox church of Agios Ioannis (St. John), whereas on the 29th of August a local religious feast takes place in honor of the Saint. Also you can’t miss the catholic church of St. Peter, which is situated on the top of the hill since 1860. Very close to the village lays the popular for its crystal blue water beach of Agathopes. This beautiful heaven is fulfilled with the two uninhabited islands of Stroggilo and Schenonissi. All villages are connected to the capital by public transportation. Buses are scheduled constantly in a circular route around the island. The bus stop is placed only 200 meters from the apartments and is in the middle of the route.
