Skarinou Villa

Skarinou Villa is a gorgeous bright & airy space, & has its own private pool with seperate outdoor facilities The house has mountain views & there is a cool breeze blowing across from Happy Valley which is refreshing when the temperatures are in the 90s all summer . The setting is delicious.... There are 4 available bedrooms, 3 with en suite shower one bedroom with its own bath tub and a main family bathroom There is a sofa bed available & cots for babies on request. WiFi. Provided The Villa was built on my yiayias (grandmother) land , it is fairly new spacious and I think you will be very pleased when you see this amazing place for the first time... The house has a tranquil atmosphere & is a perfect retreat for anyone who wants to completely relax & unwind.. Or anyone who wants to have a great memorable family holiday. All parts of this entire villa is accessible to guests I am available in person or by phone if any assistance is needed.. I am more than happy to let you know of local attractions or indeed further afield but on the whole you wouldn't see us.. The Villa overlooks the beautiful and peaceful village of Skarinou... there are shops within walking distance and traditional crafts & arts workshops in the village... The seaside is within 20mins drive in either direction; with Larmaca a 20min drive & Limassol with its Billionaires harbour 30mins drive in the opposite direction; or alternatively, a little closer are the white rocks at Governors Beach & Ayios Giorgios a favourite of the locals. There are more old & historic villages within a 15minute drive along the winding road up the mountain.... namely Lefkara & Kato dhrys Mount Troodos is now designated a Geo Park & a must see ; follow the winding roads through the picturesque villages as the terrain changes from sea to forest. It's a wonderful day out that you will be sure to remember; there is Skiing in winter, Horse & pony trekking all year round or a gentle hike along a forest trail to one of the many incredible waterfalls. Followed up of course by a visit to one of the great restaurants in Mount Troodos.. The best way to get around in Cyprus is by car... although there are infrequent buses there are shared taxis available Skarinou village has a traditional Cyprus lace workshop run by Harry who took over from his mum who ran the local coffee shop there ... .. ts a great place to sit & chat for a while & he's always happy to make a delicious Greek coffee in exchange for your news There is also the Donkey Farm just up the road & Skarinou Taverna where you can have a meal
