A truly unique cycladic stone house of 1900, fully renovated with all modern comforts. It was built by the famous Greek painter and cartoonist, Stamatis Polenakis, who is my grandfather. This beautiful house is consisted of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, wc, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, laundry machine, internet, Wi-Fi , air conditioning, parking. It can accommodate 7 persons.This beautiful, spacious house is perfect for two families with children. The house is located in an ideal place with panoramic view at the Kamares bay, 2 minutes walking distance from the beach and the restaurants. It has large verandas all around, a garden ideal for children and parking lot. All 3 bedrooms (2 of them master bedrooms) have sea view, new beds and new top quality mattresses. The first master room is on the main floor and has one double bed and one single bed, while the second master room is on the first floor and has one double bed. The third bedroom is on the main floor and has two single beds that can become one queen size double bed too. The 2 bedrooms have air condition, while the air condition in the living room covers the other bedroom as well. It has 2 bathrooms and a wc. It has also 2 showers in the garden that are very convenient and you can use them to take out the salt after your swim. It has 2 televisions (one in the master bedroom on the first floor and one in the living room which is in the main floor), laundry machine, dish washer, fully equipped kitchen. Kamares bay is a very picturesque village with a large sandy beach, traditional cycladic houses, seaside tavernas and restaurants, beach bars, supermarkets and little shops and is ideal for quality vacations. Kamares bay is located just 5 km from Apollonia, the Capital of the Island. For visiting Sifnos villages and beaches of the island, you can rent a car, use a taxi, or use the bus which is just 2 minutes walk from the house.
