This gorgeous 1880 original workers cottage has recently undergone renovations (June 2018) and features a stylish bedroom, bathroom with built in laundry, fully stocked kitchen, pull out couch and large entertaining area. It is a one minute walk to popular Hutt Street, opposite stunning parklands and very close to free public transport. Located in close proximity to many Adelaide icons including Victoria Park, Fringe, Adelaide Oval, Rundle Mall and many more! Based in a convenient location (near Cnr of South & East Terraces) in the City of Adelaide. The bedroom contains a Queen bed (as of June 2018) with luxurious linen sheets and a beautiful window, with sheers and a block out blind, which looks out onto a lemon tree. The light filled Bedroom contains bedside tables, lights and has plenty of storage room including a built in robe. The generous bathroom contains a temperature controlled shower/bath, large cupboard space with plenty of power points and good lighting. Hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and luxury towels all provided. The laundry is located inside the bathroom and includes a LG washing machine with washing powder and stain remover as well as an iron and ironing board. The open plan kitchen/living/dining room features a brand new stainless steel fridge with freezer as well as oven, gas stove top, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave (as of September 2017) and coffee pod machine. Great kitchen for cooking and entertaining if you wish to do so. All utensils and pots and pans are available for you to use and a small amount of essentials are also provided (milk, tea, coffee, sugar, oil, herbs/spices/condiments etc.). The inside kitchen table comfortably sits four people but the outside table is set for 8 (with plenty of extra room). There is a gas fire place in the lounge room for chilly nights as well as a reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge room. The couch sits 3-4 people but also pulls out into a comfortable double bed. We do have extra bedding available if you would like guests to sleep here (at an additional cost). As of June 2018, the lounge room is fitted with sheer and block out curtains. Outside is a pergola with fan and dining table for 8. Despite being located in the famous Adelaide City Square, this property is located in the quietest pocket of the city. It's really quite a special place that's very centrally located and easy to access. It is a 1-minute walk to popular Hutt Street. PARKING - Many on street parking spots are available nearby the property. There is no limit to almost all of these parks outside of MON-FRI 10-4. During weekdays these parks become free 2 hour parking zones. There is plenty of 2 hour free parking spots on South Terrace and Gilles Street and a small of amount of unlimited free parking on Gilles Street (approx. 3 minute walk from house). We do have visitor parking permits which extends your parking time from 2 hours to 4 hours. As mentioned, we are walking distance to everything as well as several public transport options. You will have your privacy with self check in so that you can check in at your leisure from 3pm onwards!
