Please specify your arrival and departure time (flight number or train time) when you book. This 100m² apartment on three floors is located in a beautiful résidence with a lovely garden. You enter in the résidence through a secure gate and directly to the apartment throuhg a private entrance at the garden level. A staircase reaches the main floor with a large living/dining room and two covered terrasses, ideal for sitting at the end of the day. The guest bedroom with private shower room is located on the second floor. You have access to your bedroom with private shower room, the whole living floor as well as the terrasses. The free internet access code is provided upon arrival. I am often at home and I am happy to share my apartment with you. I will do my best for you to be pleased and have everything you need. I am a very discreet person and I am also happy to chat with my guests Situated on the French side of the border, the apartment is in a lovely residential neighborhood of the small town of Ferney-Voltaire and close to all commodities. It is next door to the château where Voltaire lived the last 20 years of his life. The tourism office offers fascinating visits of the château as well as the town. The small town center with shopping and restaurants is two minutes down the street. Be sure to visit the lively market if you are in town on a Saturday morning. For travelers arriving by car, there is free parking in the street (Zone bleue). Traveling by bus is the easiest way to get in town during rush hour. Bus lines F and Y allow you to reach the United Nations, the train station or the airport. The bus stop Château de Voltaire is right in front of the residence. In the winter, skiing (downhill and cross country) in Monts Jura is 30mn away and, in the summer, you can hike in the Jura or the Alps, in France or in Swithzerland. You can enjoy at any time the rich nature and culture of this gorgious région, go for a swim in the nearby Geneva lake or visit the largest Lab of nuclear research CERN.
