Located in the historic Medieval Village of Carlingford, With the backdrop of Slieve Foy to the rear and the stunning views of the Mourne Mountains and Lough to the front. Peacefulness and serenity is guaranteed yet Carlingford Village is a mere 12 minute walk away, where you will find all your local amenities and attractions that the beautiful Carlingford has to offer. Bella Vista offers a large garden to the front and rear. Patio area with large BBQ to cater for the larger groups. Well equipped kitchen for those who wish to dine in. Boasted in this area are the nationally renowned restaurants for gourmet food. With Carlingford situated directly on the lough leading into the Irish Sea, you will not be disappointed with the local fish cuisine with typical attention drawn towards the world-famous Carlingford Oysters. It is not too difficult to find some of Carlingford’s biggest attractions in the form of cosy, quaint and attractive pubs. All of Carlingford’s local socialising spots are a stone’s throw away from each other, with craft beer, local live musicians and late-night dancing to burn off your food. Down is Laden with awards - Blue Flag, Green Coast and more - Tyrella beach is heavenly for kids and shallow warm(ish) water good for paddlers. From hill walking, forest trails, to pier jumping it’s no wonder the area is fantastic for adventure goers. Greenore golf course is one of Co. Louth’s best Lynx golf courses if you admire difficult windy and tight conditions for a round of 18. A 10-minute drive away, you can find the Cooley distillery which provides tours and local brewing guides. This property is in prime location for your visit to Carlingford and the surrounding areas. The Oyster factory is 2 minutes away, where you can purchase fresh oysters There is parking available for 10+ cars and a large enclosed garden to the front and rear of premises. I am available throughout your stay to deal with any issues that may arise. I will meet and greet you on arrival with key and house rules. please note there is a supplement of €300, this method spreads the costs for guests. Catering can be arranged to deliver full Irish breakfast and evening meals at a very reasonable price. Beautician can also be arranged to come to the house. Bella Vista is overlooking Carlingford Lough with Slieve Foy and the Cooley Mountains to the rear of the property and the Mourne Mountains to the front. Set in a tranquil, relaxed setting yet close by to all amenities. Bus/Taxi services to local cities Newry and Dundalk are readily available. Transport can be organised for a very reasonable fee on request, to and from the main airports in Belfast/Dublin. Supplement charge of €300 is payable on arrival for high season, my only quiet months are December and January there is no WiFi, but very good 4G coverage.
