The garden is what childhood dreams are made of, hidden pathways lead down to the estuary, an ideal spot for secret hideaways and den-building. The Main House has a spacious L-shaped lounge area in a fresh, contemporary design. A flat screen TV and woodburner for cosy, cooler evenings. A set of bunkbeds (Single over double) in one of the bedrooms, is perfect for children. The beautiful 'White Room' bedroom next door is a charming double bedroom, filled with natural light in an simple, rustic style. The front door opens into a light and airy entrance hall with cloakroom and a contemporary wooden staircase leads to the first floor. A classic shaker style kitchen with a Butlers sink, microwave and dishwasher, sits right in the heart of the house. Well equipped to an extremely high standard, it has everything you could possible need. A wet room/utility area with showers, washing machine and dryer and plenty of hanging space for your wetsuit and swimwear. Back Garden and patio. With its own local pub and a well-stocked village shop, it's friendly locals are in abundance, ready to point you in the direction of the best surf, the finest cream tea or the freshest seafood. The beach itself is a watersports paradise. Miles of golden sand, crystal clear water and incredible waves. Grab a Surf Board, Kayak or a Stand-Up Paddleboard and head on down to this pristine beach, less than five minutes walk from the house. If a sunbathe and a good book are more your thing, the Avon estuary beach is a calmer, quieter spot for you to relax and unwind. But, whatever you choose to do - White Horses provides the ideal base to enjoy this incredible location any time of the year. There are many wonderful coastal walks in the area along the stunning Southwest Coast path. The nearest bus stop is at the nearby village of Churchstow approx 2-3 miles away. The nearest train station is at Totnes approx 15 miles away. PARKING INFORMATION **************************** Although the property does have available parking space for two cars, if you do bring more than two cars there is additional parking available in the Bantham Estate car park (please visit the Bantham Estate website for full parking cost details). Between 1st October and 30th April there is also on street parking available but please do also check for any on street parking info signage that may be displayed in case of any temporary restrictions.
