Cozy, sweet, calm apartment. Big terrace. Cool neighborhood. Loads of stores, bars&restaurants, flea markets, parks, open- spaces, nature, tranquility and the river Aare nearby. 10min walk from down&historic-town. Busstation round the corner. 3 bus stops to train-station. Perfect environment. Close to everything. My terrace is a real treat, open air lounge style, fireplace, etc. But only if the weather is good and warm enough. If it's rainy, snowy or just to cold, there's not much to do out there. My apartment is the perfect spot for people who want to discover bern, walk around a lot, have a swim in one of the most amazing rivers on earth "our national sport here in Bern" and then feel like a real "Bernese" once back home for the chill-out-moments. Internet, WiFi (if you bring your own Laptop). (There's no TV) I don't share my apartment with guests. I want them to give their own space and privacy. If you're a smoker, smoke in the kitchen or on the terrace. Feel at home, enjoy, and be reasonable enough to use your common sense. "I know you are, because you love Airbnb like I do!" I try to pick up my guests by car at the train station. Usually on the way back home I show them quickly the most important spots in Bern. Like that they get a very good orientation about where to go where to start trips and how to get back home easily etc. It's definitely one of the cooles neighborhoods in Bern. Some cool bars in some hidden places, concerts, flea markets, bio-shops, also stores with typical swiss food. (huge variation of cheese, meats, vines etc.) The river Aare (if you stay in Bern for summer time, you wanna come back for sure ;-) ) is just a 5min walk away. It's the most refreshing natural and moving pool in Switzerland. A peace of mother nature to fall in love with. ....bus station is just 70m away from my apartment...
