LOCATION Villa Jolia is located between the villages of Alepochori and Kamara, 14 km from the town of Corfu, 12km from the port, and 10km from Corfu Airport. It is situated inside an olive and cypress forest, with an old garden of palms, fig trees, koum kouat trees surrounding an amazing design pool, and many flowers such as roses, amaryllis and others. The owners have personally selected every single element of design in the property, from the antique furniture that they have personally collected over the last 35 years in Europe, to upper quality linen and textiles, and to the specially furnished verandas. EXTRAS Villa Jolia houses are available for self-catered accommodation. Changes of sheets and cleaning is provided by staff once per week. More frequent change of sheets is available for an additional small fee. Villa Jolia is located 20m outside the village of Alepochori on the main road linking Corfu Town with the local villages. Guests need a car to access the area. The car can be parked safely at all times for free outside the property. The village road leads to the olive fields and is ideal for a daily run or walk. Only when guests request assistance. Superintendence and maintenance staff will be available at Villa Jolia to make your stay as safe and pleasent as possible. The property is on the road between two picturesque villages, Alepochori and Kamara, the closest one being Alepochori with less than 15 permanent residents. It is located only: - 14 km from the busy town of Corfu, UNESCO monument - 10 km from the Corfu airport - 7.5 km from some of the best beaches Corfu has to offer The village offers very limited public transport by bus and the bus stop is 2km from the house. So it is advised to make arrangements for having your own method of transport. The owners do not provide transport but could facilitate you engaging an experienced driver with advance notice. The house is part of a 2 house bulding and guests of both houses enjoy shared exterior spaces like the pool, garden and BBQ areas. The BBQ can be used after a short notice to accommodate all guests wishes approprietly. Smoking is allowed, only in outside areas but with all precautions. PLEASE turn off the lights and use of aircondiotioners when getting out of the property - there is danger of failures not easily repaired on an island country side.
