Cloisters of Kalangadoo, as it is now known, was in its previous life a 1914 Presbyterian Church which has been lovingly restored as a unique home away from home. Located in the quiet town of Kalangadoo, which is central to exploring all that the Limestone Coast has to offer. You have access to the entire property during your stay giving you the space to move and relax. We will let you know if an earlier check in time is possible. No need to waste time and arrange for offsite key collection. After hours we offer a 24 hour lockbox with access code provide prior to arrival. For your comfort we will turn on lights and air conditioning So the house will be ready for you to wind down and enjoy. We will also personally handover keys ( during check in time 3-7pm) and discuss any features which will assist you throughout your stay. We are locals and will be more than happy to help you with any information on activities in the area you would like to visit. Fancy some catering? We can email you options to make your stay even more special and carefree. Kalangadoo is a small rural town situated of the main highway between Mount Gambier and Penola. We have a small general store for basics, a rural store and petrol station. On Saturdays from 10-1pm there is the weekly farmers market. With limited grocery options it’s suggested to stop in Penola, Mount Gambier or Millicent on your way to The Cloisters to gather your supplies Off steet parking available for guests to The Cloisters. No local taxi or bus services available but could possibly arrange something if required. Cloisters of Kalangadoo is an escape to a more peaceful and technology free holiday. There is no wifi connection provided. The annex area can be used as accomodation that is wheelchair friendly. With access to bathroom, bed and main church living area. Bed arrangements in annexe is a day bed with trundle underneath.
