Hillside Villa

The main living areas have been newly refurbished. It is very light and airy. Large windows to the front and a beautiful window in the back room which frames the view off the sea. Family owned 2 bedroom holiday bungalow with fabulous sea and countryside views located in this beautiful forgotten valley on the South East Coast of Cornwall approximately 1.5 miles from the picturesque fishing town of Looe, 15 miles from Plymouth. Approximately 250 metres away from the sandy beach in Millendreath. Access to the villa is up 30 steps. Please see the Millendreath websiteto get a flavour of the valley and what it has to offer. The sea can be heard in both bedrooms if the windows are left open at night giving a beautiful relaxing sleep. Dogs are accepted however during the summer months are only allowed on the beach before 9 am and after 6 pm- there is no extra charge. There is a new beach front cafe serving breakfasts, drinks, snacks and meals through to 9pm. Licenced bar. More limited opening times throughout winter. Adjoining this there is a water-sport's centre where you can hire kayaks, surf boards or windsurfs or indeed purchase required water sport tuition. There are coastal paths, countryside and woodland walks from the valley, ideal for dog walkers and ramblers. Dogs allowed on beach From October to March all day, March-Sept before 9am and after 6pm. At high tide Black Rock beach is small, but at low tide quite big and there is access to a huge beach to the east which can only be reached from Millendreath or Seaton making it very quiet. (Don't forget to get back before the tide comes back in or alternatively return by coast path!). Smoking: We request that our guests do not smoke inside the bungalow. FACILITIES INCLUDE 2 bedrooms: one with double bed and a single bunk overhead and one with a double bed. Lounge/kitchen/diner TV with Free Sat box, DVD player and ipod docking station (some DVDs and borad games suitable for families) There is no Wifi in the villa, Wifi can be accessed for free at the Beach Bar. Bathroom; bath, toilet, wash basin, electric shower over bath and glass shower screen Flat lawned area to the front, with beautiful views of the country side and the sea. Parking below at the bottom of the steps for unloading maximum of 30 mins. Cars can be parked in the car park located down the slope for the rest of the duration, cars cannot revisit the property within a 48 hr period or they will incur a fine. Access to the beach is a 2 minute walk away Kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery etc Fridge, oven and electric hob, washing machine. 2 double duvets and 1 single duvet and pillows provided however bed linen and towels are NOT provided you will need to bring your own Electric is via a card meter we provide the first £10 of electricity which is usually more than enough for 1 week, additional cards can be bought onsite from the Site Office 7 days a week. We are contactable by phone and have a friend on site available to assist with any queries. The bar and restaurant on the beach front provide a relaxed atmosphere and wifi for those who can't live without. Millendreath is about 1.5 miles from East Looe. The visual path starts near the beach and is a hilly but beautiful walk. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and there are about 90 steps along the way.
