So you can kick right back in front of the 60" SmartTV and watch Netflix, YouTube, free-to-air TV or enjoy gaming on the Playstation 3. * There is one designated parking spot for you in the secure parking garage on the ground floor of the building. We will provide you with a remote to open the garage door. Our apartment is right where Fitzroy North, Carlton North and East Brunswick intersect. There is a pizza restaurant across the road, an Indian takeaway place around the corner, and a supermarket right next door. Walk towards the city and you’ll be in Carlton North - a beautiful place full of old heritage homes, tree-lined streets and parklands, and quaint local businesses. Sydney Rd is just a 20min walk away, and the iconic Brunswick St is 25min on foot, where you will find an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants, reflecting Melbourne's glorious food culture and multiculturalism. Brunswick Street also has retro and local designer clothes shops, the Rose Street Market, other funky stores, and a Coles supermarket. It's a 10min walk to Fitzroy North village, where you will find another 10 cafes/restaurants, Piedemontes IGA supermarket, Wild Things organic store, a new library and the best fish and chip shop ever! Merri Creek is a 15 min. walk, or a 5 min. bike ride from the apartment. It is a beautiful creek, completely surrounded by serene nature with a bike/walking track alongside it.
