A guest house near a natural reserve, between the ocean and a massive blue lagoon. Surrounded by wildlife and virgin beaches, it is a quiet, safe and clean place. Lots of great food , fresh fish and local produce. Nearby there are lots of points of interest like churches, museums and fairs. The guest house has 3 large double private rooms, 2 bathrooms ( 1 private, 1 shared), shared livingroom, kitchen and furnished garden. This room has private bathroom. The guest house has 3 double bedrooms with 140x185 beds all with direct access to the garden, desk and/or chair, 1 to 2 armchairs and hangers. Also has 2 bathrooms (1 private, 1 shared by the other 2 rooms ),the kitchenette, living room and furnished garden are also shared. Fully equipped kitchen is shared as well as the large bathroom for the other 2 rooms. The living room has satelite TV, table for 6 , a kitchen island and sofas for 6/8 people. 2 bikes are available for free depending on availability. Breakfast is a 5 minute walk away with a view to the lagoon, or a short drive. There's a supermarket 15 minute drive away or smaller ones 3 to 4 minutes away. There will be some white Port wine waiting for you. There will be a puppy on the property from the 8th of September 2018 but she has her own corner of the property if you prefer. These houses were built in the 80's for weekends and holidays, so not many people live here, most houses are not occupied throughout the year, so it is a silent place were the only noise are birds and the ocean. It has always been safe and private. The region is architectually rich, the food is fresh, very easy to find local produce. 4 to 5 minutes walk away there is a hotel with a beautiful bar and restaurant over the massive blue lagoon. 3 to 5 minute drive will take you to several restaurants. 10/15 minutes drive will take you to a big shopping centre with a bit of everything, including a supermarket. There is a lot to explore, a lot to see. Torreira and São Jacinto are on a peninsula. It is a rustic, simple place where time has kind of stopped. At Porto airport you can rent a car cheaper and faster, then it is a 25/35 minute drive south. There is also an overground (Metro) from the airport to Campanha train station, where you can get the train to Ovar or Estarreja train stations, and get a cab from there, normally a 15 minute drive. The ferry from Sao Jacinto will take you and your car across the lagoon to Aveiro in 10 minutes. Deserted beaches are 30 minute walk away, lagoon is 45 second walk. With a car or bike there is a wide variety of different choices.
