Rural, private, open plan with expansive views over farmland and the Waikato River, 14 mins from Cambridge, 15 mins to Hobbiton, 35 mins to Hamilton, 50 mins to Rotorua & Tauranga, 90 mins to Taupo, 2 double/queen rooms, modern decor & home, outdoor area with private spa, outdoor heated swimming pool, BBQ, wood burner fire, outdoor dining and living in the summer, indoor fire is warm and cosy in the winter. Ideally suited to a single, couple or 2 couples - we have 2 rooms available but they do share the same bathroom - we will not accept bookings from singles or couples who don't know each other or book together and therefore you wont have to share your bathroom with anyone you don't know. We are an LGBT friendly accommodation, we welcome guests from all walks of life. Room one - Queen bed - single or couple Room two - Double bed - single or couple If you are traveling as singles and require 2 rooms for 2 people then you will need to book for one extra person (3 pax) to ensure the second room is booked for you Please also note - we are unable to accept guests under the age of 15 yrs old Apart from the master bedroom the whole home is available for guest use, this includes all common areas, bedrooms and bathroom and you are welcome to use our fully equipped kitchen for preparing and cooking meals. We have recently completed our outdoor pool area, the pool being heated to round 30 degrees therefore extending the swim season. We have also completed our gin collection display room, featuring over 1000 bottles of gins from around the world. Guests are welcome to use both the spa and swimming pools, there are a few usual rules of course like no glass etc. We are available 24/7 as live in the home and will be sharing the kitchen and common areas, but can also make ourselves scarce if required. A private road leads to our slice of paradise, close to Lake Karapiro and the renowned Podium cafe, and only 15 minutes to the World Famous Avanti Dome and Hobbiton and many 4-5 star restaurants in the town of Cambridge We can provide airport transfer if required and can ferry our guest to any location as required We have 2 Labrador dogs and 1 white cat on the property, all are extremely friendly, dogs will be put away upon arrival until discussion had about them direct with our guests. Please note, we live in the house so expect us to be around throughout your stay - we do work in Hamilton so may be away on normal working days, but during weekends and evenings please expect to share the house - you will not necessarily have the house to yourselves during your stay.
