My place has great views. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, friends and family. Or use as a base for holidaying in the area to visit lots of attractions in the North Wales. It is excellent accommodation for guests going to nearby weddings at Barnhill Towers and other wedding venues in the area, also Focus Wales which is held in Wrexham in May each year. The property is self-contained. Accommodation is converted stables on a small holding close to Wrexham. Bedroom 1 – Double bedroom with en-suite Jacuzzi bath with shower. Bedroom 2 – Single bedroom with toilet en-suite. Kitchen - There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full cooking facilities and washer/dryer etc. Lounge – 2 settees – one is a sofabed for 2 guests extra guests if required. We have superfast fibre optic broadband with WiFi. TV Fresh towels, toiletries and a hairdryer included for all guests. Ironing facilities for guest use. Apartment self contained PLEASE NOTE: Due to the staircase to the first floor this accommodation is not suitable for persons with mobility problems. We live in the farmhouse adjacent to the stable and are on-hand for any advice or problems guests may have, or just for a friendly chat! or advise on where to go in the surrounding area. This is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and we are surrounded by sheep and dairy farms and local pubs and restaurants. Wrexham is a busy market town. It is the gateway to North Wales and all that has to offer. You can be in Chester in 20 minutes. There are also good train and bus services from Wrexham. The mountains are nearby and there are lots of outdoor activities on the doorstep. Wrexham boasts one of the finest stately homes. Erddig Hall is three miles from our home and is a beautiful hall with extensive gardens and woodlands. The world heritage site at Pontcysyllte Aquaduct is in our doorstep. Chirk castle is 10 minutes drive away and so is Llangollen, home to the International Eisteddfod and Offas Dyke. Wales has some of the most beautiful beaches, Castles, Walks, Canoeing, Zip wire,. This is perfect if you love hill walking and a sense of isolation and adventure. If you like theatres we haveTheatr Clwyd, Theatre Severn at Shrewsbury and also the theatres at Liverpool and Manchester. There is also bird watching, fishing and a mountain bike centre at Llandegla. We can also provide secure storage for bicycles. Beautiful walking area with the Sandstone Trail, Llangollen, North Wales with its wonderful coastal path and even the Peak District all within 2 hours. We are situated close to Chester and Llangollen. Close to mountains and coast, The accommodation is on the first floor over some stables with stunning views across Cheshire & Shropshire, and at one time you could see 7 counties from the balcony. Perfect for peace and tranquillity, ideal for walkers as there are wonderful walks and hikes straight from the doorstep. This is exactly the right base for day trips in Wales. Snowdonia, the Coast, Anglesey, Holyhead all are easily within reach. The location is a quiet village, but only 3 miles from the town of Wrexham, close to the villages of Minera, Coedpoeth & Bersham which have local pubs serving food and real ales. Infact one pub just 10 minutes drive has won CAMERA pub of the year. Just a 20 minute drive away is the historic city of Chester, 10 minutes into Shropshire and about 30 minutes drive from Liverpool and 40 minutes from Manchester. Nearest airports are Manchester and Liverpool. A one way taxi fare is around £40. Recommended own transport Guests are not at liberty to bring or invite others not noted in the booking arrangements unless discussed with host. The bedroom area is carpeted so please remove outdoor footwear before entering. Continental breakfast can be provided if so let me know and also if there is any dietary needs. Smokers are allowed but only if they smoke outside the property. No mains drains up here sorry! A septic tank deals with the waste so PLEASE don't flush any large items down the loo. We'd recommend you scrape fat/oil etc into the bin provided rather than pouring it down the sink where it will just congeal and block the drains.
