Ideally located close to Maleny and Montville with cafes & shops within a few minutes drive. Perfect place to come & isolate for a romantic getaway ❤️. Only the guests listed on booking will be allowed in the property A gorgeous 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the Sunshine coast. Perched on 3 acres with a dam on balmoral ridge, the open plan living flows out to the expansive deck. The house Master King suite With 180 degree views of the coast and rolling hills. Floor to ceiling french doors opens onto the panoramic deck. The suite features a walk in robe, ceiling fan & RC air con. Spacious Queen room faces the charming cottage garden. It also features a walk in robe with, ceiling fan, air con & an electric panel heater. Room 3, an office fitted with a work desk & printer. Ceiling fan, no a/c. Fully equipped modern kitchen features large island bench including a Nespresso coffee machine. Warming wood fire reside in the lounge area. Please help yourself to some starter firewood left for you on the side of the front-deck during cooler months. Modern master bathroom featuring a classic claw bath overlooking the garden. Walk-in shower with Aesop haircare products as well as double “his & hers” vanities. There is also a separate toilet with sink. Large outdoor entertaining deck with bbq and lounge seating area. Laundry area with washer & dryer and laundry tub. The cottage has a 50inch Tv with Apple tv (watch your netflix or Stan accounts via screen mirror) DVD player with large selection of DVDs, board games & books. The cottage garden promises many vantage viewing and relaxing areas. We get many requests to hosts small weddings/functions unfortunately there will be zero events allowed. Non guest access areas 1. A studio is located on the property. This is a private area which include the surrounding garden. 2. Large green shed Please enter the paddock at your own risk. Two Cattle (Pete and Nike) are in the paddock so please keep ALL gates closed at all times. The cattle may see you as a threat so be cautious. Children under 16 must be supervised at all times. Meet and Greet or will leave the key for you in the keybox. Preferred contact method is via Airbnb app messaging platform which is also the most effective. We live nearby the property. If we can’t greet you upon your arrival, we will try to drop in on your first day to say hi instead. Great central location for exploring the beautiful sunshine coast hinterland. Most major wedding venues located nearby. Located exactly half way between Montville and Maleny. 5-7 Mins drive to either. Many attractions and stunning rainforest walks close by. Great Thai and seafood restaurants only 3 min drive away. If you fancy a day at the beach, the beautiful Sunshine Coast is only a 25-30min drive away. You will need a car but there is a local bus service to Montville, Maleny and back down to Landsbrough, for connecting to the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane. There is one taxi in the area as well as patchy Uber service. The cottage isn’t set up or Friendly for children. However we do welcome new mums with infants 0-2. Please note we don’t have any cots, high chairs etc. When coming up the driveway keep left/stay straight, it forks halfway. Please refer to the check in details on the air bnb platform for the arrival pictures. There maybe some hay on the front deck to feed the cattle as a treat. They will come up to the fence by the late afternoons for some attention. We have good mobile coverage (for Maleny) with most major networks. No wifi access at the cottage.
