Rural Retreat near Tetbury

Beautiful house in the Cotswolds available for groups for weekends between two very interesting towns, Tetbury and Stroud. The house is old, situated in a stunning valley, a very peaceful and relaxing place to be. A perfect getaway from the stresses of modern life, but near enough the buzz of some great villages, towns and cities. There is a lovely front garden in which to relax, eat outside and enjoy the tranquility. . We have a variety of rooms available, several doubles, two rooms that sleep 3, and one cozy cabin bed. Perfect for family get togethers or catching up with friends. Large kitchen, Dining Room that can seat everyone and a cozy sitting room with Woodburner. For weekend guests you have access to all of the house, sitting and dining areas. Also the large front garden is available with a large lawn, outdoor furniture and fire pit. My husband and I live in the house with our children when home, and dogs we are usually about and happy to help with any arrangements you may require or give you ideas on some local events or things to do. With groups and self catering we don't stay in the house but are available for help when needed. The village is quite quiet but boasts two great pubs, two local towns, Nailsworth and Tetbury are only ten minutes away. Beyond that we are in easy reach of Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham and Gloucester. The obvious choice is car, especially in order to explore but there are some local reliable bus services if driving is not an option. We are happy to help find local places to eat, activities, or organise catering. Let us know if you need equipment for small children (cots, high chairs etc). We can also arrange transport to and from the local Stations, Kemble or Stroud. Basic provisions provided. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, butter, jams. Most groups tend to organise an online shop for delivery upon arrival.
