The Space: Situated in Southsea, Morley Cottage is a beautifully refurbished, spacious 3 bedroom house. Close to the seafront and to the Southsea shopping and nightlife, the accommodation is perfectly situated to provide easy access to all that Portsmouth and Southsea has to offer while still affording a quiet but traditionally Southsea setting. At Morley Cottage we offer check in from 3pm and no earlier unless otherwise agreed and check out no later than 11am. This fantastic property offers a large king size bedroom, plus a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, with a beautifully appointed shower room upstairs and a full bathroom downstairs. There is a large living area on the ground floor comprising a separate lounge with a large sofa (which is a sofa bed that sleeps 2) and an open plan kitchen and dining space with a table that seats 6-8 and a door which opens onto a patio. Providing all the comforts of a modern hotel, with free wifi, flat screen smart TV, Netflix, high quality beds and furnishings and hotel quality linen, we also provide all the facilities needed to cook at home. A well equipped kitchen includes an oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine, plus all the crockery, pots and pans etc needed for the majority of dishes. There is also a dishwasher to save you having to wash it all up afterwards. Situated in a traditional, quiet Victorian terraced street just off Highland Road, the property’s location is excellent with plenty of free on street parking. However, its just 5 mins walk to Southsea beach and 15 mins walk to South Parade Pier and Canoe Lake which is a great area if you have kids with you. It’s only 15 mins walk to the bustling Albert Road with its vast selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, an eclectic mix of boutique shops and the beautiful Kings Theatre and the Westwood Rooms (live music venue). Just a 15 min drive or taxi ride gets you to the Historic Dockyard where you can see the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior plus a host of other exhibitions and to Gunwharf Quays for outlet shopping, plus more restaurants and bars and a cinema.
