With only 10min walk to the beach, our room at Mwambani Villa is a great accomodation option in Nungwi for up to 4 people. Rent one of our large private ensuite bedrooms (1 double + 1 queen bed) decorated with traditional and modern african interior design in our fabulous Villa. Includes spacious livingroom, kitchen, enormous rooftop terrace, large veranda & lush garden filled with tropical flowers, fruittrees and hammocks offering lots of places to relax which is shared with other guests! Guests have access to a fridge, freezer, gas stove, electric oven. The villa also has a TV, DVD, speaker system, ceiling fans in all rooms, A/C in one of the bedrooms, a big living room, an outdoor hang-out space, large veranda, huge rooftop terrace and a big garden. Guests have access to a private en-suite room with two beds (1 double and 1 queen) with a roof-fan and AC. Shared spaces includes a fridge, freezer, gas stove, electric oven, TV, DVD, speaker system, fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fans in all rooms, livingroom, outdoor hang-out space, large veranda, huge rooftop terrace and a big garden. Mwambani is a family-run place. if Dullah isnt around his brother Abuu + nephews welcomes guests on-site. They live in a house close by the Villa, and will be able to help you at any time to e.g. book activities or give you tips about restaurants etc. in the area. On the northern tip of Zanzibar Nungwi Village is located. Nungwi Beach has been named one of the top 10 best beaches in the world (we agree!), and it is the perfect spot to swim, relax, do watersports, eat lots of seafood and get to know the local culture. There are two options for getting to Nungwi Beach from Stone Town a) taxi or b) local bus/dalladalla. Speak to us if you need any advice on travels to Nungwi or want help booking a taxi. In Nungwi the roads are bad, and not always lit up. Our staff are happy to walk you to any destination in Nungwi and show you the safest, quickest routes to get around. Options to move around are walking, renting a car or bike or taking the local motorbike taxis. Mwambani Villa is located 7-8 minutes walk from the beachfront and about 15 minutes walk from the heart of Nungwi Village. We do not have wifi but we can help you set up your mobile internet. For a few USD you will be netflixing and (Hidden by Airbnb) ing your holiday - so don't worry! The road networks are generally bad on Zanzibar, the last part of the road leading to the house is local, but our staff are happy to show you the best and quickest ways to move around Nungwi. The quickest way to the beach is through the masaai market by CocoBello (which takes about 7 minutes).
