In the same location as the Milky Way (near Clovelly) is the fantastic North Devon Wake Park and Inflatable Park, great fun come rain or shine! The unspoilt fishing village of Clovelly is a 20 minute drive away with a steep cobbled street and no vehicular access; donkeys and sledges are the only means of transport. The beautiful Lundy Island 3 miles long, 24 miles off the coast is ideal for walking and bird watching, there are no roads or cars, you can catch the Oldenburg to Lundy from Bideford or Ilfracombe. The Cottage is surrounded by wonderful walks; countryside or coastal and a folder containing details of the local area and maps of walks can be found in the living room. There is a bus stop in Abbotsham but buses are not very regular, you would need a car to get around this area.
