Private cozy room a walk away from the Opera House

Our house was built in 2000 and renovated 5 years ago. The bedroom is on the 3rd floor of the house, located in one of the quieter and historically older streets in the city. You can find in the vicinity a variety of services, including restaurants, hair salons, and supermarkets. The Old Quarter is approximately 5 minutes away by foot, so you can easily explore Hanoi’s main tourist attraction and enjoy many exciting activities. It's a house located on one of the less crowded streets with ample green space and in close approximation to the center of the city, just 5 minutes away from the Hanoi Opera House. The room is 12 square meters (~130 square ft), cozy in the winter and cool in the summer due to the advantageous location inside the house. You have full access to Wifi, TV and kitchen (on the 2nd floor), washing machine (with a minimum of three-day stay), shared bathroom with hand sanitizer available. One or two-day-tenant needs to pay 50.000 VND for every use of washing machine. This does not include other amenities like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, face wash, etc. The wifi bandwidth will be upgraded starting from Jan. 2018. There are three people in my family: me, mom, and dad. I will be your guide for the most part, since I can converse in English :) My dad can speak French to lovely guests from French-speaking countries. My mom doesn't speak any foreign languages, however. When I'm not occupied, I can show you around if you are in need of some companion to guide you through the hectic alleyways around Hanoi. Our neighborhood is a typical Vietnamese local community, loud and robust. You can observe the normal lifestyle and take it all in just by walking outside. There are also plenty of food vendors selling traditional specialties at a reasonable price, especially when compared to that of the more well-known stalls. 'Bun cha Obama' is really close in case you want to have what the former President of the United States once tried ;) There is also a nearby park when you want to just enjoy a day relaxing. It only takes 2 minutes to the nearest bus stop. The neighborhood has a steady number of cabs around, in case you want to get on the road. For guests who stay for a long period, you may stumble upon one of my mom's homemade meals, traditional Hanoi food. We sometimes invite guests over for lunch or dinner.
