Villa Fablion is located in Bourg sur Gironde in a listed village in the south-west of Aquitaine. The current estate, built in 1853, is in the heart of the vineyard and on the edge of the Gironde estuary and is 30 minutes north of Bordeaux. Its independent pavilion located in the courtyard of the Villa is a 10-minute walk from the village via the Esconge park: historic center, citadel, museums, wine house, galleries, artisans, shops, antique shops, restaurants and discovery of the port. The accommodation offered is a fully restored annex to the estate. Independent and private, located in the East courtyard of the Villa which benefits from all modern comforts in a space of over 70m2. Built in Bordeaux stones with generous volumes, this pavilion is decorated with charm and discretion and has 4 beds. The environment steeped in history (traces of life from the 5th century) and the unique setting of the estate guarantee you an unforgettable and peaceful stay on the banks of the Dordogne. On the ground floor, you have a beautiful open space with a very bright cathedral living room and a beautiful fireplace. A dining area designed for 4/6 people with a view of the outside through the bay window. A fully equipped independent open kitchen with bar as well as a large, bright bathroom with large walk-in shower and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you will find two beautiful, quiet bedrooms with views of the vineyards or the remains; a 1st double bedroom (bed 140x200) and a second double bedroom (2 beds 90x200) and 1 baby bed is also available on request. Outside, a private terrace with a much appreciated view of the vineyard and the estuary; equipped with garden furniture, deckchairs and a large lawn with a dining area. An outdoor car park with 2 spaces is also reserved for you in front of the accommodation. You will have access to the entire cottage, to its private terrace, to the outdoor car park, to the park, to the various natural terraces and wooded paths of the property. A stay in a privileged and unspoiled setting a few minutes from all amenities where you can enjoy the calm of the area, the nearby hiking trails, the various visits and cultural and sporting activities offered in our region. You will be only a few kilometers from the most beautiful sites of Gironde, its historical and gastronomic riches; visit of castles, peer-non-pair caves, the citadel of Blaye but also St Emilion, the tip of the Médoc,, Royan, etc. We will take the time to welcome you and provide you with information, and will provide you with tourist documentation to organize your stay. You will need a vehicle to get around but from Villa Fablion you are a few minutes from a TransGironde bus stop to explore the region and get to Bordeaux. By car, 15 minutes from the 1st station or 30 minutes from Bordeaux and 45 minutes from Mérignac airport. We also offer round trip station or airport packages. On your arrival you are greeted by your host who presents you the accommodation and gives you the keys. A welcome tray is offered to you consisting of a bottle of Côtes-de-Bourg wine and small accompaniments of the moment. You have at your disposal pods, tea, herbal teas and cookies. You can book on site and in addition a continental breakfast or an English breakfast served at the Villa at 7 € / pers or a Lunch basket delivered to the pavilion at 25 € / 4pers.
