Garden Suite 2 is one of two identical apartments adjacent to each other and set in 4 acres of gardens and grounds. The Garden Suite comprises a double bedroom with King Size bed, en suite shower room, open plan Kitchen (cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washer.dryer & microwave oven) dining area and lounge with wall mounted Smart tv in the lounge and tv in the bedroom. Includes complimentary toiletries, welcome beverages and bath robes. Nestling within the heart of the and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Garden Suite is the village of Easton, only 2.5 miles from Wells, at the foot of the Mendip Hills, perfect spot to relax and unwind. Walks lead from the doorstep up into the Mendips and beyond where guests can enjoy the array of wildlife that freely roam over this breath taking landscape. Perfectly located to enjoy the area's must see locations, from the historic spa city of Bath, with its stunning architecture and wealth of history, the metropolitan city of Bristol with its wealth of shops and restaurants, the picturesque scenery of Cheddar caves and gorge, and Wells, the smallest city in England. Garden Suite 2 makes a perfect base to explore the City of Wells (England's smallest city) with it's moated Bishops Palace, magnificent Cathedral, and historic Market Place - a hub of bars, cafes and restaurants. Glastonbury with it's legend of King Arthur and of course the Tor and Abbey ruins is a short drive away. Cheddar and Cheddar Gorge, and of course sampling some Cheddar Cheese is a must on the itinerary, plus Wookey Hole, Bath, Longleat and Weston Super Mare are only a short drive. There are numerous walks, national trust trails through the woods at Ebbor Gorge, and public footpaths, literally on the doorstep. At the heart of the West Country, Somerset is a destination of dramatic coastline, seaside resorts, epic English countryside, and historic places. Described by the ancient Welsh Celts and the Saxons as the Land of the Summer People, Somerset is a county of captivating contrasts. Its coast takes in long sweeping sandy beaches, seaside resorts, harbours and marinas, and the dramatic Exmoor coastline. Venture inland to an epic countryside of protected landscapes, rolling hills, wild moorlands, ancient woodlands and wetland habitats, dotted with historic towns and villages. At the heart of what makes Somerset tick is its's distinctive culture and history that includes willow and cider making, great local food and drink, the legends of Kings Arthur and Alfred and much more. Due to Covid-19 we are offering a minimum 3 night stay during July, August and September 2020 to allow extra time for cleaning/sanitising and for a buffer period between lets according to current protocol. If, however, a two night stay becomes available and is within the guidelines, it will be released for booking. The Garden Suite has a private terrace, and overlooks a garden area with outside seating for guest use. The fields and grounds around the apartment are also for guests use if they wish. My home is next door to the Garden Suite, so I am usually on hand for any requirements or advice. However, I am my parents part time carer, so not always available to welcome guests and show them in. In this instance, I can leave a key in a safe place with a note of where to find everything. Eat out in one of the many surrounding village pubs, or in Wells with its pubs, bistros, cafes, and award winning restaurants. There is a bus service from the village to Wells every hour, also numerous taxi services if required.
