Crofters Cabin 149 Snowdon drive

This chalet has been fully refurbished for 2019. It has a modern clean and airy feel. It has a large decking area to the front leading out from the lounge, where you can sit and listen to the sound of the river. The chalet benefits free wifi and a smart t.v. It has all the essentials for your stay and your own parking space. Chalet 149 Our Chalet is located in the Beautiful quiet setting of Glan Gwna Holiday Park , two miles from Caernarfon. We have just refurbished the Chalet and is available for hire from April 2019. It can accommodate 5 guests comfortably. 2 guests in the double bedroom and 3 guests in second bedroom where we have bunk beds. There is an option for 2 more guests taking the sofa bed in the living room. Hangers are provided in the bedrooms We provide bedding and pillows for your stay but not towels. We have an Iron and ironing board. The chalet boast a brand new bathroom which has a clean and modern feel. It consists of shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen is equipped for all the essentials needed for your stay. Pots, pans microwave, hob and oven etc and enough crockery for 7 guests. There is a fold away dinning table in the kitchen which will seat up to 6 guests. The lounge area has a calm and comfy feel. The log effect fire makes the room cozy and warm. The TV is a 40" smart TV. For fun filled nights we have a selection of board games. The French doors open out onto a large decking area where you will find outdoor furniture and a bbq . This is ideal for relaxing and listening to the river flowing through the park with a glass of wine. The chalet requires electricity cards to be purchased from reception for £5 £10 or £20. Please note the chalet has its own parking space and there aproximately 8 shallow steps upto the door. SITE Glan gwna is a lovely site partially covered in woodland with the River Seiont running through it and its very own lake. Guests are able to fly fish on the river or course fish on the lake. Permits can be purchased from reception but a rod license is required. There are extensive walks in and around Glan Gwna, ideal for dog lovers. The site benefits from a large outdoor heated pool (open from end May - September) a large seated patio area with plenty of sun loungers and a pool side bar. There is also a fully enclosed outdoor childrens play area. The Club house offers sky tv and various evening entertainment throughout the season and also serves food. Route 66 is the on site cafe and take away, which is open all season. There is a small convenience store and a launderette on site. Entire chalet lounge, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, shower room and outside decking. Guests also have use of the on site heated pool (may - september) Available by phone or email North Wales has a lot to offer from its golden sandy beaches to the awe inspiring views of Snowdonia. The Beaches Treaddur bay,Rhosneigr,Benllech, Dinas dinelle, Newborough and Porthdinllaen with its famous beach bar Ty'Coch are all just a short drive away. For the thrill seekers. Snowdonia is quickly becoming a hotbed of adrenalin based activities which include. Velocity zip line , zip world , bounce below,surf snowdonia, fforest coaster, various downhill mountain bike trails, rock climbing and of course the summit of snowdon itself. And to the sea, lots of activities including rib rides , kayaking , sailing , scuba diving and sea fishing. For the golfers There are plenty of courses to keep you entertained including Conwy (3 courses) Nefyn with its stunning old course,Stors wen,Tyddyn mawyr,Porthmadog,Holyhead and many more all within easy reach For the more relaxed North Wales is steeped in history with its castles at Caernarfon, Conwy, Baumaris,Criccieth and Harlech. Ynys llanddwyn the home St Dwynwen (the Welsh patron saint of lovers )Numerous mountain railways and much much more. For children and families Plenty to do including pleasure boat rides on the Menai Straits ,Anglesea sea zoo , pony trekking, Greenwood family park and so much more. All these activities are just short drives from Crofters Cabin and more info can be sourced locally or at the site reception. There is a bus stop outside of the site and taxi no.s in the chalet.
