Check out the listing pics for your very own snack bar goodies. This listing is for our large sunny room with a queen bed, suitable for a solo guest or a couple. This is a modernized three bedrooms bungalow, one bedroom belongs to me and the other two bedrooms are dedicated Airbnb private rooms with queen beds. The bathroom and common spaces are shared with the host and all Airbnb guests. Our home is sunny, airy, cozy and relaxing. We have an indoor fireplace in the living room for the colder months and you're welcomed to join us for a lazy night in front of the fire with a hot cup of cocoa and a snug blanket. We have two feijoa trees in our garden so if you are arriving in autumn, you are welcome to pick the fruits and enjoy the unique taste of feijoas. The kitchen is available to use and it's equipped with oven, rice cooker, microwave, slow-cooker, toaster, blender, stand mixer, fridge, deep fryer, coffee plunger, kettle, coffee capsule machine and water filter jug. Please do clean up after you use the kitchen facilities. We have a lovely collection of organic teas for you to choose from. Please refer to the listing photos. There are off-street parking available in front of the house, however, please be mindful when you drive in as there might be cats sunning themselves on the path. Please take note that our home is 13 mins away from the Auckland Airport which means that we are in the flight paths of the airplanes (just like the rest of the Manukau City is) so you will hear airplanes flying overhead. Earplugs will be provided if you have difficulties resting due to the noise. :-) You will have access to the Living Room, Dining Area, Kitchen and the Laundry Room with a 9kg Washing Machine ($4 per wash inclusive of laundry detergent, stain remover detergent and fabric conditioner). Please pay the host BEFORE you use the laundry facilities. Chromecast is available in your room. Please respect the privacy of the host and the other Airbnb Guest by not entering the other rooms. There will be a sign on the door of your room with your name so you will not mistaken the rooms. :-) We are blessed with good sunny weather most of the times so if you would like to have a picnic, we can lend you a picnic blanket, picnic basket with utensils and a large chiller/chilly bin. We are a professional and sociable couple who enjoy meeting new people. We are always up for a chat, or a movie. We do have some board games and card games (Cards Against Humanity is our favorite). We are also very respectful of your space and if you prefer to have some peace and quiet and to keep to yourself, please let us know so I can greet you upon your arrival & show you the place and leave you alone so you can rest. But if you want to have a chat, watch a movie or some TV or even play a game or two we would love to get to know you. I can arrange to pick you up/drop you off (with 24 hours notice) from/to the airport for $25. Please send me a message to let me know your arrival time & date. I can also help with bank accounts & IRD for those on working holidays and help plan out trips around NZ or merely offer advice on the best places to visit. I pride myself on being a bargain hunter so I can definitely recommend you good deals to grab for your trip or discounted dining out deals. We are located in a quiet suburb and you will have to drive down the private driveway to park in front of the house. The driveway is not large but can definitely fit a truck/lorry/van easily. We have 4 spaces of off-street parking available in front of the house. Our home is conveniently located close to both the main motorways (Southern Highway (SH1) and South westerns (SH20). The airport is a 15 minute drive via the South Western motorway. We are located close to both Manukau City Centre and Botany Town Centre. Estimated driving time from our home to the following locations: Rainbow’s End = 5 mins Westfield Manukau Shopping Centre = 6 mins Manukau Train Station = 7 mins Manukau Bus Station = 7 mins Auckland Airport = 13 mins Botany Town Centre = 11 mins AUT South Campus = 6 mins MIT Manukau Campus = 7 mins Vodafone Events Centre = 6 mins Pak N Save Supermarket = 5 mins Countdown Supermarket = 6 mins Taiping Asian Grocery Market = 7 mins Auckland Botanic Gardens = 8 mins Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple = 6 mins There's a bus stop 650 meters away from our home. From our home, it's a 2 mins drive to a Chinese Takeaway place, a dairy (NZ version of convenience store), bakery, laundromat, ANZ Bank ATM and a liquor store. You can catch the train from Manukau Train Station to get to the Auckland CBD and the cost is $7.00 by cash or $4.90 by AT HOP Card. The Auckland International and Domestic Airport are 15mins drive by car and I can pick you up or drop you off at the airport for an additional NZD25.00, depending on my availability. Uber operates here and will cost you approximately $29-34 in an UberX from the airport. * We have 4 cats so if you are allergic to cats, please do not book :-) * Free Continental Breakfast (No extra-charge for Vegan or Gluten-Free Options) * Free Unlimited high speed Fiber Wi-Fi * Airport pickup and drop off is available by prior arrangement. * Check-in time could be flexible depending on our space availability. Please inform me in advance. * Quiet time after 11pm. * Due to the close proximity to Auckland airport, you might experience noise from airplanes flying overhead. * No visitors allowed unless with prior arrangements. * If you do not require bread or milk, please let us know before you check in so we can prevent food waste. Nothing sadder than seeing a loaf of bread untouched and moldy when you check out. * If this is your last stop in New Zealand before flying out, we are more than happy to help you donate your unwanted belongings to the local op-shop with prior arrangement. Please do not leave garbage in the donation bin. * Please be kind to our cats. We do not tolerate abuse.
