Double room in Home of 2 Architects-Sailor/Cylist

Soak in the charm of our renovated Edwardian home in Portsmouth, with artwork, architectural models and greenery. We are both Architects. Ben loves cycling and Charlotte is a keen sailor. We live on the northern side of Portsea island, just a stones throw from coastal walks, woodlands, Southsea, the New Forest and ferry port connections to Isle of Wight, France and Spain. Fantastic transport links directly from house with the main bus lines running through the city. Edwardian charm with collectable eclectic mix of furniture and artwork. Double guest bedroom at the rear of the property at first floor. We have a dining room and garden should you wish to eat in, but we would encourage you to eat out at one of the great restaurants in Southsea and Portsmouth. Your bedroom is on the first floor with a double bed, large full length mirror, original period fireplace and a wardrobe for full length hanging space. NB The boiler is the in the room in built into a wardrobe, but does not need to be accessed. A Carbon Monoxide detector is always installed. We will likely be around the property during your stay, so ask us anything in person. Should we nip out then you can always drop us a (Hidden by Airbnb) or call us for a speedy answer. We love living here as the area is really laid back and friendly. We are perfectly placed between the main beach in Southsea and for getting out of Portsmouth to explore the nearby country parks, South Downs, the cathedral city of Chichester and the idyllic New Forest. Porchester Castle, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Gunwhaf Quays are all just a short drive or bus journey away. We are also just 30min from the white sands of West Wittering beach - popular for surfing, windsurfing and kite boarding Car, bike, taxi, bus. Transport here is so convenient and reasonable as the city is super easy to get around. There is a nice coastal walk just a short stroll from the house or the beach at Southsea is just 10min drive away. Parking at the house can be busy at rush hour but there are plenty of neighbouring streets for spaces if you struggle to park on our road. We have 2 cats at the property. The are both wonderful, friendly and will surely want attention. When we are around, our baby may be too. He is a very happy babe who makes very little noise but we apologise if you do hear any crying at any point.
