Accessible / Wheelchair Friendly 2 Bedroom Caravan, Lower Hyde, Shanklin, Isle of Wight This 2 bedroom caravan in Shanklin, Isle of Wight, is wheelchair friendly / accessible. It has a wheelchair ramp, wide entrance door, lowered kitchen sink, wide hallway, sliding doors, toilet handrails and a shower seat. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4 hob gas cooker, grill and oven, a fridger, a microwave and kettle. All the cookware and tableware needed is provided. The dining area comfortably seats 4. The living room area has plenty of comfortable seating with a TV, gas fire. A wide corridor leads through to the main bedroom at the rear of the caravan with a king-size bed and large wardrobes. From the corridor is a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and wardrobe. These bedrooms both have wide, sliding doors. Also from the corridor is the bathroom, again with a wide, sliding door. The bathroom has a toilet with a handrail that can be raised or lowered. The shower has a non-slip floor, folding shower seat, gate and a shower curtain. The caravan has gas central heating and double glazing throughout. Outside is a private parking space. Pay As You Go WiFi is available on-site, provided by Wifinity. Bedding (pillows, pillow cases, quilts, quilt covers, sheets) are provided for the fixed bed and beds will be made prior to your arrival. We provide some essentials such as a toilet roll and hand towel in the bathroom, some cleaning products and a tea towel in the kitchen. Please note that bath and beach towels are not provided. We also provide some tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in the kitchen ready for your arrival. We can book discounted ferry tickets for you with both Wightlink and Red Funnel, subject to terms and availability. Lower Hyde Holiday Park has a bar and restaurant, a children's play area with swings and climbing frame, football and basketball pitches, and a swimming pool. Passes for the resort facilities and entertainment can be purchased at reception. Please note that resort facilities are open from mid-March to October half term only. Lower Hyde Holiday Park is in the heart of Shanklin. Immediately outside the site is a Lidl supermarket, which is open to 10pm most nights. The main shopping streets and the railway station are just a few minutes walk from the site.
