Come and enjoy our beautiful, two bedroom, modern, self-catering first floor apartment nestled on the banks of the River Cothi, within the quaint hamlet of Pontargothi. The apartment comprises of a spacious living room which is perfect for entertaining, a fully equipped kitchen and both bedrooms have been elegantly decorated offering open countryside views to the rear and views over the river Cothi. It's situated perfectly between the historic market towns of Llandeilo and Carmarthen. The apartment is fully equipped with a modern kitchen including a washer dryer, fridge and freezer. Guests at the Cothi Bridge Apartment have access to the grounds and the riverbank. My wife, our two boys and I live in the village of Pontargothi so are always available if you have any questions or want ideas or suggestions for places to visit. To give our guests more freedom to check in when is convenient with them the key is kept in a key safe next to the front door of the apartment and we email the code before the check in date. Locally, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is home to the world’s largest, single span glasshouse and some truly magnificent sights. Aberglasney Gardens has some of the finest gardens in Wales, where you can explore more than 10 acres of magnificent gardens and a fully restored Grade II listed mansion house. There are a host of activities to discover and things to see in the area. Take a step back in history and visit the National Trust nature reserve of Dinefwr, here you can uncover the delights of the historic house and 18th-century landscaped park, a deer park and Dinefwr Castle, it really offers something for all the family. The Cothi is within easy reach of the breathtaking scenery of the Brecon Beacon National Park, and to the west is the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Guests can also enjoy trout fishing on the River Cothi from the doorstep. Beach 15 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards. It is quite rural so access to a car is definitely beneficial to get around. There is a bus stop in the village and a train station in Carmarthen and Llandeilo. There are numerous walks in the area and it is very popular with cyclists. Note: The apartment is all electric therefore does not require a carbon monoxide detector.
