Situated on a hill in the picturesque Surrey Hills, the Penthouse apartment has breathtaking view. It's the perfect spot for nature, biking and hiking lovers. Built c. 1906 as the home of a gold merchant, the house has a lot of architectural character and has been beautifully decorated in an English country house style. The penthouse has a separate entrance & 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms & large living room. We also have a stunning garden, an outdoor tennis court, a pond and pond house. The apartment is situated at the top floor of the main house with stunning views and benefits from a separate entrance. The flat also has a large Living Room / Cinema Room, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Newly installed dining table that converts into a 6ft pool table for extra fun. Guests are welcome to use our garden and tennis court for a walk / play but due to Covid distancing rules please ask us before using the garden space. We usually keep it for our family. We use the main house every weekend so happy to answer any questions! A guide book of the area with recommended walks and places to visit will be available in the living room. Surrey Hills is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) so plenty of opportunities for walks, biking and sightseeing. Our village, Ewhurst, is known as rock star village with Eric Clapton's house visible from our hill. Also 10min form Ewhurst is an idyllic old fashioned village - Shere, and in Forest Green you can find a local farm shop and the newly renovated country pub, The Parrot. Car is recommended to get around. Good walking shoes and clothing.
