Old Clove House is a traditional Sri Lankan house with colonial architectural influences that has been fully renovated, modernized and is now operating as an upmarket vacation rental home. This master suite occupies the whole of the second level of Old Clove House, furnished with a King-sized bed, and its own sitting/ lounge space and en-suite bathroom. Perfect self-contained large room for a couple with exclusive access to the whole house. This is a totally private master-suite occupying the whole of the second level ensuring full privacy. The king-sized four poster bed has a wonderfully comfortable 12" thick spring mattress and is dressed with the best quality bed linen available in Sri Lanka. This room is ideal for a couple wanting exclusivity and privacy the the whole house. Guests will have access to the master suite, the swimming pool, the common lounge space and TV room, the dining pavillion and all of the services of the full suite of staff, consisting of a chef, a head houseboy and two additional houseboys. Basically, guests will have exclusive access to the entire house except the two other bedrooms. Guests will have as much or as little interaction with the staff as they choose. The chef will prepare all meals as required by the guests, and the houseboys will attend to all housekeeping and general duties in and around the house. All meals are charged at cost + transportation cost for the purchasing of foodstuff and groceries. Laundry is complimentary and we only expect that the staff is generously tipped for their services rendered. Mihiripenna is a very pleasant, green, and quiet Sri Lankan village. Thalpe Beach is a 15-minute stroll or an easy tuk tuk ride away. Unawatuna Beach is also easily accessible and there are restaurants, bars, and nightlife at both beaches.
