The views in this part of the Costa de la Luz out to the ocean are stunning. Isla Canela is within easy reach of two major airports: Faro 50km and Seville 100km. Nearby activities and sports include an 18 hole par 72 links golf course which was completed in 1994. Apart from Isla Canela's own course there is an amazing choice of fabulous courses within an hours drive: Islantilla, St.Lorenzo, Castro Marim, Benamoura Tavira, Bella Vista, Vilamoura, Quinta do Rio and Nuevo Portil to name just a few! There is a lovely selection of quality seafood restaurants and bars nearby. Close by there is a beautiful Marina which was opened in April 2000 containing several small bars and restaurants. A ten minute drive brings you to the traditional Spanish town of Ayamonte - the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by!
