Two lovely attic rooms for you and your children
Our rear attic room is set up to accommodate two children in solid comfortable twin beds. One bed is partly under the slope of the ceiling, this bed or the other, can serve as a sofa (if not wanted as a bed). You have a fridge and a microwave in the rear attic room, together with cutlery and minimal crockery. The front attic room, which is for you, the parent or carer(s), overlooks the town and the sea. The view extends as far as the Mumbles lighthouse which you can see flashing. You can also hear the waves at night. I provide fresh ground coffee and organic milk (blue top, unless you have another preferance). Let us know if you don't drink milk or prefer nut milk. There are tea, coffee and herbal teas and a kettle in your room and you are responsible for safe handling of course. You have exclusive access to the top floor with two private rooms. One for your children, and, one for you. Your room is in the front attic with its sea view. The loo is incorporated into the children's room to the rear, and parents or guardians, walk through this room to get to the loo which is behind a beam. You need to acknowledge this arrangement and that you have no disability which would make accessing the space tricky for you. We love to show guests the feature, it usually gets amused appreciation. You also have a shower on the landing outside your room. Nobody else goes up to your space uninvited. There is a shower curtain to draw around you if you wish. The curtain also keeps you cosy for drying off. The arrangement makes you self-contained on the top floor. Let us know if you might need a stair gate as you are at the top of two flights of stairs (which in addition to the hill, that you're going to love, and, which will keep you fit), provide the joy of the sea view. Are you ready??? xxxxx The space has been arranged to fit everything into it, that you might need, all on the same level. On the ground floor you have access to the living room, from where you can step out into the small front garden. You're welcome to enjoy this garden (we use the back) whilst also sharing the front door and hallway adjacent with ourselves. If you're a single parent (or a friendly couple) and would like to socialise with another adult human(!) I can be available and am up for cinema trips and child centred activities especially if you'd like a bit of a hand. This is a seaside town with some colourful properties on either side of a cobbled hill which used to operate a tram in the Victorian Era. There are great views to be had especially if you walk up to the maze and steps to the very top where a wooded area offers a country walk back home through the Park used by Dylan Thomas. PARK ON OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE STREET ....FOR FREE!! You won't get a parking ticket! Residents Parking in operation curbside in front of the houses. But opposite is free and you won't have to move the car at all if you don't want to.
