The Venice Suite at Ffarm Country House

Ffarm Country House is a marvellous Grade II listed manor house dating from 1706. With many unusual architectural features inside and out the Ffarm has a wealth of character and charm. Now operated as a boutique hotel, the Ffarm has a total of 10 en-suite guest rooms of which the Venice Suite is the most spacious. Situated within 2 acres of private grounds in the quiet village of Betws-yn-Rhos it provides the perfect spot to base an exploration of the North Wales countryside. The Venice suite is the largest of the guest rooms at the Ffarm and boasts a total of 50sqm of accommodation. It is situated on the first floor of the Ffarm with views to the front and to the gardens to the side. The 6ft super king bed is supplemented by two day beds that can be configured either as sofas or as standard single beds suitable for children. Please let us know if you require the singles making up as beds or as sofas. A travel cot is also available for any additional infants in the party - simply let us know if this is required. There are no additional charges for an infant under 2 years of age. Complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits are available in the room. The room has a TV and a DVD player and has access to an extensive library of DVDs. The maximum capacity of the suite is two adults plus two children up to the age of 15 (plus one infant if under 2yrs). IMPORTANT INFORMATION The advertised rate is a room only rate on the basis of two adults sharing. Breakfast is not included in the room rate but guests may enjoy breakfast at the Ffarm at additional cost (£5 per person for cold buffet of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, fruit juices, toast & jams plus unlimited tea & coffee or add a full Welsh cooked breakfast for just an extra £4 per person). The Cafe at the Silver Birch Golf Club also serves breakfast. There is a guest lounge on the ground floor which has a licensed "honesty" bar from which drinks can be purchased. There is also seating in the main hall where guests can relax in front of a roaring fire. The Ffarm also boasts a restaurant where we serve breakfast and also evening meals (evening meals must be booked in advance and the restaurant is not open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings). From summer 2020 a billiard room will be available with a 3/4 size table - perfect to enjoy a evenings snooker or pool. There is a guest lounge on the ground floor which has a licensed "honesty" bar from which drinks can be purchased. There is also seating in the main hall where guests can relax in front of a roaring fire. The Ffarm also boasts a restaurant where we serve breakfast and also evening meals (evening meals must be booked in advance and the restaurant is not open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings). We are always available to answer questions about the area or chat about our little bit of Wales but our main wish is for our guests to relax and feel at home. The village of Betws-yn-Rhos boasts a village shop and Post Office, a village pub (the Wheatsheaf Inn), a gym, tennis courts and an 18 hole golf course (the Siver Birch Golf Course) which has a cafe plus facilities for Foot Golf. There are a number of National Trust properties along the North Wales coast (Bodnant Gardens, the Castles of Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris and Penrhyn together with Plas Newydd and Plas Mawr). The historic town of Conwy is our personal favourite in the area and Llandudno retains much of its Victorian splendour. The RSPB reserves at Conwy and South Stack on Anglesey are well worth a visit too and there is a charming zoo at Colwyn Bay as well. We recommend that all guests have their own transport as the area is quite rural and buses are infrequent.
