The residence is next to all convenience, in the central square of Ternate and it's a few minutes walk away from Lake Comabbio, with its romantic cycle track ring, and 3 km far away from Lake Monate, a small spring water jewel for all swimming, rowing and pedalo' tours belovers. Motorboats are forbidden. Exploring pile-dwellings is very interesting for skubadivers. The nice and well organized beaches all around the lake, will allow you to enjoy sunbathings and tasty lunches. If you love horses, you will have a huge choice of riding schools. Golfers will enjoy the beautiful 18 holes course situated in the town next to Ternate and other 7 in an area of 30 km. In the square of Ternate you can buy your most basic groceries, and there' s a bank, a post office, a medical centre, a pharmacy, the town council, a clothes shop, an excellent coffee-shop, a bar-tobacconist/newspapers shop and the bus stop. Buses go to Varese and Sesto Calende. Near the residence there's a nice restaurant with view over the lake and the Berrini park, ideal for pick-nicks, with playgrounds and jumping trampolines for your kids and a "pizzeria". Location: 10 minutes drive from JRC Ispra (Lake Maggiore) 20 km from Milan Malpensa airport 40 minutes drive to Milan 15 minutes walk to the train station of Varano Borghi. Trains to the airport, to Milan and to Luino. The Lake of Varese, 5 minutes drive from Ternate, offers a beautiful cycle track and up to the hill you can visit the nice city of Varese with the Sacro Monte and the Planetarium. In 20-30 minutes drive or by ferry boats, linking Angera and Laveno to Arona and Verbania, you can reach the well known cities of Arona and Stresa at the lake Maggiore.
