Two storey spacious beach house with views of sea and jetty. Freshly painted and new decor and furniture. Front and back deck with BBQ with view of sea. Calming neutral, natural tones. Light filled to maximise the changing atmosphere and light through the day.We aim to be as low impact environmentally as is possible. A newly established garden of native plants is under way to support local wildlife. Please also note there is a compost bin situated in back garden. Guests have entire house, front and back garden. No access to garage. Owners available via phone, text and email Enjoy walking and fishing along the Long Jetty. Swim, snorkel or kayak or simply gaze mesmerised across towards Corner Inlet to the Prom. Local bike path connects to the Great Southern Rail Trail and RAMSAR wetlands will interest bird lovers and the fresh sea air is amazing. The Maritime Museum is also located in the back streets and definitely worth a visit. Wilson’s Prom and Tarra Bulga National Parks are lovely day trips away. Refuge Cove Wilderness boat tours are also available from Port Welshpool. PLEASE NOTE: Port Welshpool is a quiet, sleepy fishing village situated in a beautiful rural area with nature right at your doorstep. We think its perfect but if you are looking for bright city lights, lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and a highly developed area with lots of people, Port Welshpool and 160 Steps Beach House is probably not for you! Food Provisions: Local shopping for food at Toora, with a larger range at Foster and Yarram. We especially recommend Ahern's Fruit and Veg / Gourmet Produce in Foster. Meeniyan has the world's best bakery 'Pandesal's' and there are a range of boutique cafes / shops / restaurants and a wonderful art gallery. There is a small Milk Bar in Port Welshpool and a small grocery / cafe with a small selection of goods in Welshpool. Foster and Toora have great pubs, ring ahead for bookings, unfortunately the Port Welshpool and Welshpool pubs are currently closed. Milk Bar, local pub, jetty and walking / bike path are along foreshore and it is a comfortable, flat and scenic walk. Please note - Port Welshpool has a very small milk bar, if you require a supermarket for provisions Toora, Foster and Yarram are your best options. Ahern’s in Foster supply quality fruit / veg / deli and local gourmet produce. Address details and key access provided once bookings confirmed
